Every designer’s dream project is to brand a winery, so what an exciting opportunity to partner with the owners of a start-up winery in Long Island, NY to bring their vision to life. The project was wide-ranging – including naming, strategy, identity creation, website design and packaging of the wine bottles. Interwoven teamed up with LABL (Language and Brand Lab) for a successful creative collaboration. Vinizzo owners Michael Izzo and his wife Kristie Loscalzo brought open minds, thoughtful feedback and enthusiasm to every step of the project. Needless to say what resulted was a stunning wine brand able to grow and flourish with the business.

The wine bottles are a celebration of Sea Cliff with a modern execution. Special tribute to the community is paid by the circular “bottled in Sea Cliff” emblem. The color palette of black and white with touches of silver and gold elevates the packaging, while keeping the focus on what’s most important – the wine. We opted to utilize the same bottle shape for both red and white wines to keep with the idea of dark and light in opposition. A silver embossed logo on beautiful felt paper in black and white double front labels distinguishes this wine brand from the next.
